Though in (Psa. 91:4) it is said that He shall cover thee with His feathers and under His wings shalt thou trust, in (Gen. 1: 26,27) it is said that God made man in His own likeness and image. We understand that angels have wings, and God’s chariot is Cherubim which has six wings (Psa. 18:10),(Isiah 6:2), (Ezek.1: 22-28), (Ezek. 9:3). So it is established that as man does not have wings, God too does not have wings, but the shelter for man under His wings may be some form of shelter which God provides for man, or perhaps under the wings of some cherubim’s.
